Nils Frahm announces 2019 two-night residency at Brooklyn Steel

On March 27, German electronic music producer/composer Nils Frahm announced via Twitter that he’ll be staging a two-night residency at Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Brooklyn Steel that will take place on March 29 and 30, 2019. Tickets for these sure to be memorable shows go on sales March 30 at 12 p.m.

Fans of Frahm’s music who can’t wait until next year to see the innovative music maker live can do so provided they’re willing to travel. In April, the Frahm will have a show at San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom and in July, he’ll perform in the same city at The Warfield. Tickets for both of those shows are on sale now.

Nils Frahm hails from the city of Hamburg, Germany where grew up studying classical music. However, instead of becoming an orchestra player, Frahm pursued an interesting in electronic music and began looking into how the two genres could be fused. His experimentation ultimately lead him to create music that combines elements of ambient, modern classical and electronica.  His most recent album is All Melody which was released in January via Erased Tapes.
