Nothing But Thieves returning to the US for fall 2018 tour
Nothing But Thieves

Nothing But Thieves put it sweetly on the band's Facebook page:  "We just can’t get enough of you lot in North America so we’re returning this Autumn (or ‘Fall’ if you must) for a load more shows."

The Essex, England alt-rock quintet has already toured the U.S. once for its 2017 sophomore album, Broken Machine, which is still spinning out hot tracks like "Sorry" and "Amsterdam." And earlier this year, the group released covers of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" and Jeff Buckley's "Lover, You Should Have Come Over," for Record Store Day. Another lap around the track - and in bigger venues - makes perfect sense for a band that's been growing its fan base since 2015, when an eponymous debut full-length launched the moody hit, "Trip Switch."

Singer Conor Mason's multi-octave vocals, combined with the band's taut, guitar-fueled artfulness, have drawn comparisons to Radiohead, Keane and U2. While still a relatively young band, Nothing But Thieves has already shown itself adept at both stadium-level anthems and emotional, down-tempo tracks, so now's the time to steal some time with them.

Tickets for the North American tour go on sale Friday, May 18, at 10 a.m. Eastern/7 a.m. Pacific Time. The band's Facebook notice ended with a teaser, too:  "Stay tuned for more announcements…" so if your city isn't listed yet, there may still be hope.
