On any given night, Denver’s Ogden Theatre plays host to some of the best national touring talent the country has to offer. The historic theatre boasts great sound and is both intimate and spacious. If you’re looking to catch some music in October, the Ogden Theatre offers up a little something for everyone from rock and electronic to jazz and hip-hop.
October at the Ogden gets into full swing with a two-night stand from indie rockers Lord Huron followed by another two-night run from legendary power-trio Primus. Other rock bands of note include metal masters Bullet For My Valentine, the southern soul sounds of St. Paul and the Broken Bones as well as up-and-coming jamband Spafford. Jazz fans won’t want to miss psychedelic sax man Kamasi Washington on Oct. 26.
October at the Ogden also offers up a healthy dose of dance and electronica beginning with The Glitch Mob on Oct. 6. Synthpop is well represented with groups like Years & Years, St. Lucia and EDEN. Classic house heads will want to check out UK DJ and producer Chris Lake, or, if you’re looking for more psychedelic sounds don’t miss OTT on Oct. 20. If hip-hop is more your style, Los Angeles-based rapper Phora performs at the Ogden on Oct. 16.
October at the Ogden will close out with a Halloween show from Australian DJ Fisher. You can find a complete list of October shows at the Ogden along with ticket info below.
