Detroit area Beliebers should get their fingers poised and ready to pound the ticket-buying keyboard. Pop superstar Justin Bieber will perform live at The Palace in Auburn Hills, Michigan on April 25, 2016 as part of his recently announced Purpose World Tour. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. ET.
The Purpose tour is commonly touted as Justin Bieber’s comeback tour and this is for good reason. Bieber has endured a lot of backlash in recent times for making some poor personal choices which have been heavily scrutinized, criticized and satirized by the media and other communications platforms. For as much as Bieber seemed to veer off course, he’s been very candid about his determination to move forward, having learned from his mistakes.
Who can ever forget his critically-acclaimed performance at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards in which he broke down in tears following the thunderous applause and overall warm welcome he received after his killer delivery of his No. 1 single “What Do You Mean?” It takes a lot of courage to admit mistakes and find a way to move on; especially when you’ve virtually grown up in the spotlight as one of the biggest solo male pop stars on the planet. Justin Bieber’s large and loyal international fan base has never wavered in its degree of adoration, even in the wake of Bieber’s disastrous actions.
Purpose fulfills its namesake by putting Justin Bieber back on top on several fronts. The album dropped on Nov. 13 and marks his fourth studio album which notably vaulted him to the top of the Billboard Artist 100 chart (for the first time in his career) after bumping Adele down to second place. The dance-driven record boasts collaborations with some of Bieber’s ultra-hot musical peers including Skrillex, Diplo and Ed Sheeran. The album understandably leans toward reinvention and reflects Justin Bieber’s many creative colors. His discography as a whole might also mark the chronological evolution of his sonic style (which also falls in line with his ever-changing hair styles).
The fact remains that Justin Bieber knows how to turn on the charm and effectively dance and sing his live concert audiences into a screaming, adoring frenzy. The handsome Canadian has historically sold out concert venues around the globe on his previous Believe and My World tours and Purpose is expected to do the same. For diehard fans, scoring a Justin Bieber concert ticket is like gaining entry to the hottest party of the year, with one of the biggest stars on the planet serving as host and chief entertainment.
Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour kicks off on March 9, 2016 in Seattle and concludes on July 18 at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden. Tickets for the Palace of Auburn Hills show range from $50.50 to $126.00 each before fees. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016.
