The Ontario Reign have announced the details of their annual charity gala. This year's gala will help raise funds for the Be Perfect Foundation, which raises awareness for those who are dealing with paralysis. It will take place at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Ontario Airport, located at 222 North Vineyard Ave starting at 7pm on Feb. 5. Tickets for the event is $40, and due to the fact your ticket includes dinner, seating is extremely limited.
Players and coaches of the Reign organization will be in attendance. There will also be a jersey auction as fans will have a chance to bid on a Reign warm-up jersey. This year's jersey is special because it commemorates the Reign's 10th anniversary.
The Be Perfect Foundation was set up by Hal Hargrave Jr., who suffered paralysis from the neck down in an automobile accident. In 2007, Hargrave Jr. was trying to avoid a large piece of tire tread while driving in Las Vegas and lost control of his truck, which rolled four times before stopping.
The Reign have their next three games at the Citizens Business Bank Arena, as they play host to the Tucson Roadrunners on Friday, Jan. 12 (tickets), Chicago Wolves on Saturday, Jan. 13 (tickets) and the Texas Stars on Martin Luther King Day (Monday, Jan. 15), (tickets).
