Hip-hop infused Latin rockers Ozomatli have announced a show at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. The Los Angeles-based band head to the world-famous Stanley on Thursday, Feb. 21. You can find ticket info on AXS by following this link.
Ozomatli fuses a number of musical forms like rock, hip hop, reggae, jazz, salsa, funk and more to create a unique style that defies the catch-all term of “world music.” The group also use their lyrics to address socio-political injustices around the world. Ozomatli grabbed national attention after releasing their debut album in 1998 and opening for Santana on his massive Supernatural tour.
More recently, Ozomatli released the follow up to their 2014 album Place In The Sun, Non-Stop: Mexico to Jamaica, which contained a number of high-profile guest appearances like Latin jazz legend Herb Alpert, Juanes, Slightly Stoopid, G Love & The Special Sauce and longtime collaborator Chali 2na among others.
Don’t miss your chance to catch Ozomatli when they come to the Stanley Hotel on Feb. 21.
