The amenities at the Citizens Business Bank Arena, home of the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League, are set to increase. A new patio will be built to accommodate 1200 additional guests.

The expansion is considered a major upgrade. It is to improve the overall outdoor experience for fans prior to the game or during the intermission. The patio is set to open in a few weeks (before the Reign regular-season opener against the Stockton Heat on Oct. 12) and be roughly 10 000 square feet. It will also have a mobile bar.

The patio will be at the northeast entrance point, will be close to the box office, and will be at the area for where ticket holders can enter the arena. The current capacity for hockey at the Citizens Business Bank Arena is 9736. It is the same capacity for the Ontario Fury of the Major Arena Soccer League and the Los Angeles Temptation of the Legends Football League (women's 7 on 7 indoor arena tackle football). Meanwhile, the Agua Caliente Clippers, the top development team of the Los Angeles Clippers in the G league, has a capacity of 10, 832.
