Paul McCartney announced April 13 on his official website he would be adding four more U.S. concerts to his One On One Tour April 13. He will now be playing July 10 at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio; July 12 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; July 19 at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania; and Aug. 7 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Tickets for the Cincinnati show go on general sale at 10 a.m. local time April 18. General sale for Philadelphia, Hershey and East Rutherford begins at 10 a.m. local time April 22.
The McCartney site said that fans with American Express cards can purchase tickets before the general public. In Cincinnati, the presale there begins at 10 a.m. local time April 14 and ends at 10 p.m. local time April 17. In Philadelphia, Hershey and East Rutherford, the presale will begin at 10 a.m. local time April 18 and end at 10 p.m. local time April 21. The new show makes 30 shows now set for the One on One Tour, which opens tonight in Fresno, California. Other North American shows he'll hit on the first U.S. swing are Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; North Little Rock, Arkansas; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Two other Canadian shows are planned for Vancouver, British Columbia.
McCartney recently announced a new multi-disc career-spanning compilation titled "Pure McCartney." The new set will available in a 2-CD standard edition, a 4-CD deluxe version that includes a book and a 4-LP vinyl release. Japanese fans will also get an SHM-CD deluxe limited edition version and it will also be available digitally on iTunes.
