Paul McCartney will bring his Out There tour to New York, Michigan and Pennsylvania, he revealed on Aug. 25. Those shows are in addition to the two upcoming dates in Canada and Ohio he confirmed on Monday.
The five new dates added to the Out There tour read like this: Oct. 13 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio; Oct. 15 at Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pennsylvania; Oct. 17 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada; Oct. 21 at Joe Lewis Arena in Detroit, Michigan; and Oct. 22 at First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York. The shows in Columbus, Ohio and Toronto were officially announced on Monday.
His show at State College, Pennsylvania, will be his first ever at Bryce Jordan Center. The show at Joe Louis Arena will be his very first at the venue and his first show in Detroit since the 2011 On the Run tour. The Detroit show was reported by a local newspaper Monday ahead of today's official announcement.
Tickets for the U.S. dates will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31. Tickets for the Toronto show will be on sale at 11 a.m. ET Friday, Aug. 28. American Express card members can purchase tickets for the U.S. shows before the general public at a presale that begins at 10 a.m. ET Aug. 27 and ends at 10 p.m. ET Aug. 30. An American Express card presale for the Toronto show begins at 10 a.m. Aug. 25 and ends at 10 p.m. Aug. 27. Tickets are also available here.
In other McCartney news, he will release remastered versions of his Tug of War and Pipes of Peace albums in October. On Monday, he made available a free download of “Take It Away” that is available on his official website.
