Paul McCartney announces new batch of 2017 U.S. One on One tour shows


Paul McCartney answered the rumors kicking around social media in recent days and announced 14 One on One tour shows in the U.S., beginning with Miami's AmericanAirlines Arena on July 5. Shows will run in the month of July, September and one at the beginning of October. Besides Florida, the shows will include stops in Minnesota, Louisiana, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and Michigan. They will include three cities and venues he's not played previously -- at Infinity Energy Arena in Duluth, Minnesota on July 13, CenturyLink Center in Bossier City, Louisiana on July 15 and CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska on July 23.

The first public sale of tickets for the new shows starts April 29 for the July 25 Tinley Park, Illinois show. Tickets for the July 1-3 and October 1 dates go on sale May 1. The September shows go on sale May 5.

American Express® Card Members will be able to buy tickets before the general public beginning  at 10 a.m. local time April 26 through 10 p.m. local time April 30 for shows in Bossier City, Louisiana; Wichita, Kansas; Des Moines, Iowa; Omaha, Nebraska; Syracuse, New York; Detroit, Michigan; Miami and Tampa, Florida; and Duluth, Georgia. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. May 1 local time through 10 p.m. May 4 local time for shows in New York City, Brooklyn and Uniondale, New York, and Newark, New Jersey.

McCartney opened the One on One Tour on April 13, 2016 in Fresno, California. The tour, which opens its newest leg today (April 25) in Japan, has also played North and South America and Europe. McCartney has confirmed he's working on a new album. It's not known whether any of the songs from that forthcoming album will be included in the new tour dates.
