If you have been wondering who the final headliner of the 2015 Firefly Music Festival would be, the wait is over. Today in an issued press release it was revealed that Paul McCartney will headline this year's festival. This will be McCartney's first time performing at Firefly, his only scheduled festival performance of the year. The 2015 Firefly Music Festival takes place June 18 - 21 in Dover, Del. at the Woodlands.
With the news that Paul McCartney is headlining Firefly, the music festival is giving away free tickets. For every one thousandth share that this Facebook post gets, the festival is handing out 10 free tickets. Fans that are not lucky enough to win tickets will be able to purchase weekend passes soon.
Before fees, an early bird 4-Day pass is $249, an advance 4-Day pass is $279, a regular 4-Day pass is $299, and an encore 4-Day pass is $329. Passes go on sale beginning March 2 at noon Eastern Time.
Kings of Leon, The Killers, Morrissey, rapper Snoop Dogg, Foster the People, electronic artist Zedd, "Take Me to Church" singer Hozier, and Modest Mouse are among the other notable acts scheduled for the 2015 Firefly Music Festival. The daily lineup has yet to be revealed.
