Hailing from Brighton, UK, the four (wo)man collective known as Penelope Isles is quickly becoming one of the most revered new musical acts to make their debut in recent years.
Forming around the base of the brother and sister combination of Jack and Lily Wolter, Penelope Isles' chemistry is undeniable utilizing Lily's frontwoman vocals as the driving force of the bands lyrical content while Jack has been solely responsible for the band's high-quality production value and memorable melodies.
Now, the quartet is preparing to release their debut studio LP, Until the Tide Creeps In, this Friday, July 12 in partnership with Bella Union. The quickly-rising alt-rock band is also preparing to embark on an international tour set to kick off overseas in Trenčín, SK and eventually find its way stateside in Oct. utilizing Washington, DC as a starting point.
