Forming in 1978, Bauhaus became goth rock gods with songs such as "Bela Lugosi's Dead," "Kick in the Eye," and "She's in Parties."  Currently, frontman Peter Murphy is celebrating the band's 40th anniversary with tours in Europe and Australia, but he revealed plans to bring it over to North America next year.

Announced on Wednesday, the Ruby trek will begin on Jan. 16. inside Anaheim's City National Grove of Anaheim. The tour will head east with performances in The Truman in Kansas City on Jan. 28, Plaza Live in Orlando on Feb. 7, The Masquerade in Atlanta on Feb. 8, and Terminal 5 in New York City on Feb. 14. The trek concludes inside The Novo in Los Angeles on Feb. 28.

Along with Bauhaus bassist David J., Murphy will perform the band's debut album In The Flat Field in its entirety, which will be followed by classic tunes from the band. Before the success, In the Flat Field set the stage for the band as it became an underground classic. Tickets for these shows are on sale right now.

Since Bauhaus' original disbandment in 1983, Murphy embarked on a solo career that includes 10 studio albums. In 2008, Bauhaus released their final studio album Go Away White.
