An exciting part of any comic convention is the chance to see favorite heroes and characters come to life through the act of cosplay (costume play). Some attendees spend hours, days and even months creating crowd-stopping pieces that make other's question if magic is real. Other attendees dig through their closet a few hours before the convention and throw something together. No matter the amount of time or skill involved, it's always the amount of heart put into a cosplay that counts and brings a special energy to any convention. Check out the slideshow above and video below to take a peek at some of the many amazing cosplays that took over the yearly convention.
The annual event will take over the Mile High City once again next year, June 15-18, 2018.
