Last night, Mr. Carmack unveiled a totally new concept for him by playing a completely live set at the Echo in Los Angeles. Dubbed "three intimate shows," Carmack showed the small crowd that he is more than just a DJ and producer—he is an all around musician.

When he first took the stage, he told the crowd that the performance was going to be his first live set and no one really knew what to expect. But, Carmack proved that he could perform as a singer, he could play the flute, a keyboard and even brought out a hand "shaker." He created almost every sound live, which is extremely impressive for someone who usually is known for making beats.

The hour and a half set ended in true Carmack fashion. Toward the end he brought Denzel Curry to the stage to rap, and even played the crowd a little bit of a trappy DJ set. Check out photos from the show above, all taken by Corey Cretney.
