Queens of the Stone Age reveal album details, announce North American tour with Royal Blood

A day after officially announcing their first studio album since 2013’s ...Like Clockwork, rock band Queens of the Stone Age announced their full run of North American tour dates in support of the upcoming LP titled, Villians. The run of shows will start on Sept. 6 at the more intimate Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY,  shortly after the album’s Aug. 25 release via Matador Records.

The band also shared the album’s first single, “The Way You Used To Do,” which was produced along with all the other tracks on the LP by “Uptown Funk” mastermind, Mark Ronson. The unapologetic new song can be heard in the video above.

The tour will follow some previously-announced international dates and North American festival appearances set to take place towards the end of summer. They’ll be joined throughout most of their shows by British duo Royal Blood, which basically means that QOTSA just announced the best hard rock tour of the year.

Tickets for select shows on the upcoming tour, which includes notable stops at Denver’s famous Red Rocks Amphitheater and Madison Square Garden, will go on sale starting June 21, and can be purchased by clicking here.
