Australian electro-dance group known as Rüfüs Du Sol (aka Rüfüs) will embark on a short North American tour this June. The Aussie trio announced their 2018 concert plans last week, which are scheduled to begin with their appearance at Bonnaroo on June 7 and run throughout the summer month before coming to an end following the second weekend of Electric Forest on June 28.
According to the band’s announcement, their North American headlining shows will feature two sets per gig, with nightly setlists even containing some new music. Aside from festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Electric Forest and Utah’s Bonanza Campout, Rüfüs’ summer tour schedule includes their own headlining performances at venues including Richmond’s The National, the Music Farm in Charleston and Orlando’s Plaza Live. Tickets for select shows on the band’s upcoming summer run are on sale now, and can be purchased by clicking here.
The three members of Rüfüs have had a busy last few years, mostly surrounding the arrival of their sophomore album just over two years ago at the start of 2016. More recently, they’ve been part of major music events such as Colorado’s Decadence New Year’s Eve event alongside some of the biggest electronic artists in commercial music this past December. They also shared the stage at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with funk duo Chromeo back over the summer.
The limited run of shows should be a hint that the band isn’t quite ready to return to heavy international touring until next year, when the follow-up to 2016’s Bloom could possibly arrive.
