Ray LaMontagne announces he'll be 'Just Passing Through' on fall tour

On Aug. 1, Ray LaMontagne announced that he’ll be launching a 25-date acoustic tour this fall. After kicking off with a show at Santa Barbara, Calif.’s Arlington Theatre, the singer-songwriter’s latest voyage across the US will take him to venues in New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina.

As the Just Passing Through tour will be the first time of the folk and blues performer has staged an acoustic sojourn since 2012, tickets to these shows, which are on sale now, are likely to move quickly.

As reported by Jam Base, LaMontagne has enlisted some A-list help for the upcoming tour, namely Wilco bassist John Stirratt. Additionally, LaMontagne revealed that the Just Passing Through tour won’t focus solely on material from his fantastic 2016 record Ouroboros.
