Announced today, the anticipated music festival Austin City Limits has announced its full lineup with headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance the Rapper, The Killers, Gorillaz, Martin Garrix and The xx. Rounding out the massive festival is Ice Cube, Ryan Adams, Solange, The Head and the Heart, Run the Jewels, Foster the People, Spoon and Vance Joy, among many other diverse featured artists. The ACL festival will take place over two consecutive weekends. Over 140 bands are scheduled to play across eight stages at Zilker Park, October 6 through October 8, and October 13 through October 15. 

There's something for everyone this year with festival staples in week one, like Portugal. TheMan, in addition to First Aid Kit, Louis the Child, and Royal Blood. Weekend two will see The Revivalists, 90s rock favorites, LIVE, Eagles of Death Metal, and Parker Millsap. More artists featured will be Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's good friend, musician Mondo Cozmo, and Whitney, among a number of others.

ACL festival is known for focusing on homegrown talent with many Texas-based artists performing, and this year is no exception, with Texas natives, Paul Cauthen, Asleep at the Wheel, Carson McHone, and many others carrying the traditional talent among the region.

Three day general admission tickets go on sales today at 10am CST at Three-day VIP and platinum tickets, with hotel packages will also be available starting at 10am CST. Ages 10 and under will be admitted free of charge, accompanied by a ticketed adult. One day general admission tickets, with one-day VP, and one-day platinum tickets will be available later this year.

Austin City Limits Festival is celebrating Zilker 100, where the festival has taken place for the last sixteen years, and proceeds from the festival go towards improving Austin's parks. ACL festival has donated $6.3 million in funding to Austin Parks, and the total contribution to improvements has exceeded more than $26 million since 2006.
