Following the conclusion of their current Holiday Hayride Tour, the group will play a pair of concerts on Feb. 3 and 4 at Denver, Colo.’s esteemed Bluebird Theater. The group won’t be coming to the Rocky Mountain State alone; they’ve enlisted ska-punk outfit Voodoo Glow Skulls and funk rock band Igor and the Red Elvises as support. Tickets for these sure to be incredible shows go on sale Dec. 1 at 10 a.m.
The Reverend Horton Heat was founded in 1985 by Jim Heath in Dallas, Texas. Their first album is Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em, a phenomenal album that played a key role in mainstreaming the fiery blend of punk rock and rockabilly music known as psychobilly in the United States. The group has consistently brought the gospel to the masses the last 27 years by releasing nine more albums worth of combustible and sublime American music.
Their most recent record, 2014’s REV, became one of their highest charting to date by debuting at number 26 on Billboard’s US Independent Albums chart and number 2 on its US Top Heatseekers chart.
