REZZ 'Certain Kind of Magic' Tour embarks for fall 2018

Rezz has been on the scene for only three years, but she is already considered a DJ on the rise.

Rezz (b. Isabelle Rezazadeh) has always had an affection for Djing. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Canada, one could always find Rezz at a music festival. Her love for festivals even got her fired from her job at the Hard Rock Cafe while she was in high school, but all it did was make her more determined than ever to become a DJ.

Since Toronto was close by, Rezz was a frequent visitor to EDM and dubstep shows in the city, and it was here where artists like Zeds Dead and Pretty Lights began to shape her future. She wasn’t just an attendee at these parties, though, as she was an active participant in keeping Toronto’s EDM scene vibrant and transformative.

By 16, Rezz was DJing herself, and in 2015 she began posting her own tracks on SoundCloud. Deadmau5 recognized this hidden gem and signed her to his label, mau5trap. She released her first EP in July that year, Insurrection, which got plenty of attention in Toronto’s booming EDM scene; and that album was the perfect setup for Rezz’s debut LP, Mass Manipulation, which went to number 16 on the Billboard Dance charts.

Rezz will return with a new LP, Certain Kind of Magic, in August, and to promote the album, she will embark on the Certain Kind of Magic Tour this fall. Here’s the complete tour itinerary, and keep in mind that all dates and venues are subject to change.
