Rhea Butcher to hit 'Close to Home' on Spring 2018 tour
Team Coco / YouTube

Comedian Rhea Butcher is winding up for a monumental 2018. Fresh off the heels of her co-headlining tour with wife Cameron Esposito earlier this year, the comic has announced initial dates on her Close to Home tour, which will have her touring the country between March and April. Take a look at the complete list of tour dates below.

Butcher's unique take on observational humor and blue collar comedy has allowed her to cultivate a large following in a brief period of time. She began her comedy career performing improv in Chicago and released her first comedy album Butcher in 2016, which debuted at No. 1 on iTunes upon its release. She has since gone on to co-create the hit television comedy show "Take My Wife" with Esposito. The show tackles gender barriers and everyday life issues as a lesbian couple. Currently on the Seeso streaming service, the show was recently renewed for a second season.

Butcher's Close to Home tour will pen the comedian in 10 cities this spring. She'll kick things off on March 30 at Creative Alliance in Baltimore and work her way through the Northeast until early April, including a stop at Brooklyn's Union Hall. Additional stops include Woodward Theater in Cincinnati and The Ready Room in St. Louis. Her final show will be held at recordBar in Kansas City on April 14. Tickets are now on sale for select dates via AXS.com.
