Rich Homie Quan announces summer Back to the Basics tour

Later this summer, Atlanta MC Rich Homie Quan will barnstorm through the United States on a 17-date US tour. Starting on July 12, the “Flex (Ohh, Ohh, Ohh)” hitmaker will embark on a tour that will include shows in Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Albuquerque, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Washington DC, Charlotte, Atlanta and Denver, Colorado’s own Bluebird Theater. The man born Dequantes Devontay Lamar is hitting the road in support of his latest mixtape, Back to the Basics, which was released in April of this year.

Rich Homie Quan’s career took him music took off in 2013 when he started touring with Trinidad James and making featured appearances on singles by rap luminaries like Gucci Mane and Young Thug. He was able to capitalize on his newly raised profile with the release of his excellent Nov. 2013 mixtape, I Promise I Will Never Stop Going In, which hit number 25 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart. Since then, Quan has reigned as one of the rap game's hottest MCs. Quan's highly anticipated debut album, Rich As In Spirit, is scheduled for release later this summer
