Ringo Starr will head back out on the road for just over a month in the U.S. this fall with his All-Starr Band, he announced today. The tour will begin Oct. 13 with eight shows at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, then head to the South to Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and Georgia before moving up the East Coast to Virginia, New Jersey and New York. The tour will conclude Nov. 16.

"The dream is still unfolding, I love to play, and I love to play with this band. I can’t say that enough, and we’re on the road again,” the 76-year-old Starr said in the tour announcement released today. Starr turns 77 in July. His All-Starr Band, which features Todd Rundgren, Gregg Rolie, Steve Lukather, Richard Page, Warren Ham and Gregg Bissonette, has been together since 2012 and is the longest-running group of All-Starrs since Ringo first took the band on the road in 1989.

Starr has announced he is working on a new album that will be released this year. Contributors include his fellow Beatle Paul McCartney, his guitarist brother-in-law Joe Walsh and past All-Starr Peter Frampton. No release date for the album has been announced. An hourlong TV concert special featuring a 2016 concert by Ringo and the All-Starrs aired March 26 on AXS-TV. Paul McCartney also confirmed over the weekend he is also working on a new album. He'll do a few tour dates in Japan next month, the only tour dates he has announced so far.
