In case you’re already planning your trip to the 2021 League of Legends World Championship, Riot Games has you covered.
The League of Legends game developer has officially announced the host countries of the next three World Championships. Each year’s tournament will visit a major region, with the first taking place in Europe for 2019, followed by China in 2020 and North America in 2021.
South Korea served as the location for this year’s World Championship, and each stage took place in a different city, with Incheon as the host for the finals.
While the exact stage-by-stage cities for the following three years have yet to be announced, Riot Games has already set the AccorHotels Arena in Paris as the location for the 2019 World Championship finals. There have yet to be any cities announced for 2020 or 2021, although fans can expect Riot Games to release more details closer to the actual dates.
