Rockabilly favorite JD McPherson hitting roady for 2017 tour, including stops at Gothic Theatre & Mountain Winery

Oklahoma’s JD McPherson plays a style of ‘50s rock 'n' roll so authentic, you might think he snuck back to 2017 in Marty McFly’s Delorean. Now, the singer-songwriter has announced a new run of live dates that includes a stop at the Gothic Theatre in Englewood, CO.

McPherson will be hitting the south Broadway venue on Sept. 30. Tickets for the 16+ show go on sale this Friday, Aug. 4. Get yours right here on AXS.com.

A former schoolteacher, McPherson left education behind to pursue a career in music. His debut album Signs and Signifiers was originally released in 2010 before Rounder Records signed him and re-released the record in 2012. He followed that up with the excellent Let The Good Times Roll in 2015. Although we’re still awaiting news on a new record, McPherson dropped a Motown-flavored cover of Erasure's synth pop classic “A Little Respect” in January.
