Rough Trade NYC will host Canadian indie rock outfit Hollerado at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5.

Hollerado are out on the road promoting their third studio long-player, Born Yesterday, which was released back in April through Royal Montain Records. The album, which features the singles “Born Yesterday” and “I Got You,” also includes the politically changed track “Grief Money.”

Born Yesterday follows on the heels of the band’s ambitious 111 Songs project, which was released in March 2015. The project, anchored by lead single "Firefly,” is a collection of custom songs written for fans who ordered a promotional bundle for Hollerado’s sophomore album, White Paint.

The JUNO nominated four-piece released its sophomore LP, White Paint, in February 2013 via Royal Mountain Records. It birthed three singles: “Pick Me Up,” “So It Goes,” and “Desire.”

Record in a Bag, Hollerado’s highly successful debut full-length, first emerged in 2009 as a free download on the band’s website. It was re-released in September 2010 on independent record label, Arts & Crafts. Recorded with producer/engineer Gus Van Go, who previously worked with The Stills and Priestess, Record in a Bag spawned the singles “Americanarama,” “Julette,” and “Got to Lose.” The following year, Hollerado scored a nomination for a Juno Award for Best New Group.

Hollerado has previously toured with and supported the likes of Billy Talent, Sum 41, Sam Roberts Band, Flaming Lips, Passion Pit, Jack White, Weezer, Black Lips and more.

Tickets, $10 in advance, $12 day of show, are available for purchase here at Doors open at 8 p.m. for the 21 & over event. Rough Trade NYC is located at 64 North 9th Street in Brooklyn, New York. For more information, visit Hollerado’s website and Rough Trade NYC’s website.
