Two years ago, New York-based singer-songwriter Sam Evian impressed with his sensational debut album Premiere. A potent blend of country, rock and pop sonic textures, the record sounded like nothing else in the modern music landscape.

Now, Evian has returned with his sophomore album, You, Forever, which is out June 1 via Saddle Creek Records. To give listeners a good idea what his new music sounds like, Evian has released its first single “Health Machine.” The track, which is the perfect soundtrack when driving along a long and winding road to nowhere in particular, sounds like a refinement and evolution of Evian’s earlier work. As such, there’s a good chance You, Forever will be one of 2018’s most compelling new albums.

To promote his new record, Evian has announced plans to barnstorm through the United States this summer. As part of the tour, the singer-songwriter will be making stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Allston, Mass.’ very best music venue Great Scott. Tickets for these sure to be sublime shows go on sale March 30 at 10 a.m. EST.
