In selecting players, the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League have seemed to make defense a priority. During free agency on Aug. 1, the Seals signed six defenders and on July 16, the Seals selected six defenders in the NLL Expansion Draft. In an ongoing series for AXS Sports, we are in the process of featuring the 14 players the Seals have selected in free agency with defender Tor Reinholdt being the ninth feature.
Reinholdt is 28 years old and has played four seasons in the NLL. In 2014, 2015 and 2017, he played for the Calgary Roughnecks and in 2017 and 2018, he played for the Saskatchewan Rush. In 16 career regular season games in the NLL, Reinholdt has three goals, four assists for seven points, 18 penalty minutes, collected 50 loose balls and 17 shots. All three of Reinholdt's goals came in his rookie season with the Roughnecks of 2014.

Reinboldt also played two games for the Rush during the 2017 Champion's Cup playoffs. He had one goal, two assists for three points, collected 10 loose balls and had three shots.
