The San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League named Teran Brown as their dance team manager on Thursday. Brown will be the first dance team manager in the history of the Seals as they are an expansion franchise in the NLL and are set to start the 2018-19 NLL regular season at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego come late fall.
Brown started dancing when she was only six years old. Over the last decade, Brown has been a professional dance performer and choreographer, as well as a coach.
Brown also spent two years as a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League. A graduate at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, she has also worked five years as a team director at San Diego Danceworks.
Dancing is a major part of the entertainment of National Lacrosse League games. Excellent performances by the dancers definitely enhance the overall experience of attending a professional game in the NLL for the fan.
