Shakey Graves announce Can’t Wake Up and 2018 tour dates

Austin-based roots rocker Shakey Graves, aka folk singer-songwriter and guitarist Alejandro Rose-Garcia, has announced his forthcoming LP Can’t Wake Up, which is set for release on May 4 via Dualtone Records.

The album, comprised of 13 tracks, is Rose-Garcia/Shakey Grave’s second official full-length, following on the heels of 2014’s And the War Came. The musician has shared the cover artwork via Facebook and more details are expected to be unveiled soon.

In addition to Can’t Wake Up, the one-man band will be hitting the road in May for a handful of tour dates. The tour, set to kick off at Georgia Theatre in Athens, Ga. on May 8, will stop in Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago and more, before wrapping up with a headlining gig at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo. on Aug. 30.

Prior to hitting the pavement, Shakey Graves will perform sets at two music festivals in April. The first performance will take place on April 21 at Tuck Fest in Charlotte, N.C. and the second will go down the following evening at High Water Fest in Charleston, S.C. While out on the road, Rose-Garcia will make a stop in Napa, Calif to perform at Bottlerock on May 25.

Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, Jan. 26 at 10 a.m. local time. A limited amount of discounted pre-sale tickets are available on Shakey Graves’ website as well as through Spotify and specific venues.
