For the first time this year, Sheppard has put out a brand new single. Their first single of 2017 is entitled "Keep Me Crazy," and late last night the indie pop band posted a lyric video for that song on their VEVO YouTube channel. The single is also available to purchase beginning today via all digital outlets.
The song “Keep Me Crazy” is going to be featured on Sheppard's upcoming second album. No album title or release date has been announced. According to the press release sent out this morning, it will come out sometime this year via School Boy Records and Republic Records.
In that same press release, the band's lead vocalist George Sheppard talked about what their new single is all about. He said, "‘Keep Me Crazy’ is about finding wild, lasting love that keeps you youthful, enthusiastic, and passionate."
Their upcoming second studio album will be the follow-up to the band's debut release, Bombs Away. That album came out back in March 2015, and it features their hit single "Geronimo."
This month Sheppard will get a chance to perform their new single “Keep Me Crazy” live in concert. Their Australian tour with Justin Bieber began earlier this month, and they'll be opening up for the pop singer until March 18. A list of Sheppard's upcoming concerts can be viewed here.
