Sleater-Kinney announces 2019 tour, drop new song produced by St. Vincent

Sleater-Kinney fans have plenty to salivate over in 2019. The reunited alt-rockers have unveiled details of a fall tour of North America in conjunction with the release of a brand new single "Hurry on Home."

Rolling Stone reports on May 29 that the Washington-based trio dropped the huge news on the heels of announcing a new album last week The Center Won't Hold, which is being produced by St. Vincent and will hit shelves in 2019 via Mom + Pop.

The supporting tour will hit theaters and auditoriums in 31 cities across the U.S. and Canada. The fall romp will keep the veteran all-female band on the road from early October through late November.

The fun begins on Oct. 9 in Spokane, WA, at Fox Theater. Big shows along the way include a stop on Oct. 13 in Denver at Ogden Theatre, as well as Oct. 31 in New York at Hammerstein Ballroom, before wrapping up  Nov. 23 in Seattle at Paramount Theatre.

Select presales begin on Friday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Tickets for the majority of the shows go on sale to the general public starting Friday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Grab your tickets right here at AXS.

The Center Won't Hold will be Sleater-Kinney's first new album since 2015's No City to Love. The lead single "Hurry on Home" is available in digital format to stream or download here and can be preordered in 7" vinyl here. Fans can check out the official video above.
