The snowboard industry’s most anticipated event is returning to Denver's Sculpture Park on Saturday, Oct. 14. Snowboard on the Block welcomes winter with an all-day event (1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) featuring a gear sale, film premieres and live music from The Vandals and The Murder City Devils. Tickets are on sale now and you can find them by following this link.

To kick off the season, Snowboard on the Block is premiering some of the best snowboard films out this fall on the big screen. Films premiering this year include Transworld Snowboarding’s “Arcadia,” Snowboarder’s “Pepper” and Absinthe Films’ “Turbo Dojo.” Check out the trailer for “Arcadia” above and find trailers for “Pepper” and “Turbo Dojo” below.

Snowboard on the Block will also feature music from The Vandals and The Murder City Devils. Hailing from the board sports mecca of Huntington Beach, California, punk rock veterans The Vandals were part of the 90s punk revival alongside bands like Green Day, Sublime, NOFX, Rancid, Pennywise and The Offspring and have been fixtures on the Vans Warped Tour.

Coming up in Seattle in the mid-90s, The Murder City Devils have connections to both the punk rock and grunge scenes having toured with bands like Pearl Jam, At the Drive-In, and Modest Mouse. While the band took a break in 2001, they returned in 2006 and have been recording and performing live consistently since then.

With great music, plenty of fresh gear and snowboard films to get you amped for the high country, Snowboard on the Block is like a coming out party for the Winter Sports season. Click here to get your tickets today.
