Canada’s favourite trailer park residents Ricky, Julian and Bubbles are heading to Red Rocks this summer for what promises to be one “F***ed Up Evening.”
The Trailer Park Boys – the cult comedy phenomena centered on a trio of scheming friends who live in a Nova Scotia trailer park – will be hitting Colorado’s fabled amphitheatre for a special performance on Wed. Aug. 30. Presale begins tomorrow, Jan. 31, through the Trailer Park Boys’ website, with general on sale beginning on Friday, Feb. 3, at 10am MST right here on AXS.com.
Although the Trailer Park Boys have toured extensively in the past, their Red Rocks appearance is the first date announced of an all-new show. Here’s a description of the show:
What’s supposed to be an intimate evening with the Trailer Park Boys quickly goes off the rails when, after escaping arrest for 'a simple misunderstanding', the boys realize they have limited time to party before the cops inevitably track them down. Under pressure to pack as much partying as possible into the evening, expect Ricky, Julian and Bubbles to be at their drunkest, highest and greasiest for a hilarious night you’ll never forget!
Originally airing from 2001-2008, the Canadian mockumentary series was acquired by Netflix in 2014. The streaming giant has since released several more seasons of the show, along with multiple features and live specials. The actors behind the show – John Paul Tremblay, Robb Wells and Mike Smith – also have a comedy network under the banner SwearNet.
