Starland Ballroom set to host The Pretty Reckless

Starland Ballroom will host hard rock outfit The Pretty Reckless on Friday, May 19. The NYC-based four-piece will be joined by special guest Them Evils.

The Pretty Reckless are touring in support of their latest studio long-player, Who You Selling For, which is anchored by the singles “Take Me Down” and “Oh My God.” The 12-track collection landed at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 after being released back in October via Razor & Tie.

Going to Hell, the quartet’s sophomore full-length, debuted in March 2014 at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. The album spawned four hit singles, including “Heaven Knows,” “Messed Up World (F’d Up World),” and “Follow Me Down,” and one additional single called “House on a Hill.”

The group's debut effort, Light Me Up, dropped in August 2010 via Interscope Records. Although the album only reached No. 65 on the Billboard 200, it was widely received as a commercial success due to singles “Make Me Wanna Die,” “Miss Nothing,” and “Just Tonight.”

The Pretty Reckless have previously toured with the likes of The Veronicas, Marilyn Manson, Evanescence, Nickelback, Guns N’ Roses, Holy White Hounds, Halestorm and more. They have also performed sets at music festivals like Warped Tour and Bamboozle.

Also on the bill is Huntington Beach, California’s Them Evils. The rock band most recently released a self-titled EP. The 4-track collection, released in June 2016, includes the single “Untold.”  Their previous EP, the 7-track Cold Black Love, was released in July 2015.

Tickets, $25 in advance, $30 day of show, are available here at Doors open at 7 p.m. for the all ages event. Starland Ballroom is located at 570 Jernee Mill Road in Sayreville, New Jersey. For more information, visit The Pretty Reckless’ website and Starland Ballroom’s website.
