The retro hair-metal parody act known as Steel Panther will be gearing up for Mardi Gras this coming spring the only way they know how–by rocking out for fans with a new batch of concert dates announced on Tuesday. The niche rock outfit who pull their influences from the bygone era of 1980s MTV-era hair bands will head out for a brief run of shows across the southeast U.S. beginning on March 1 in Jacksonville, Florida, and continuing until March 8 in Norfolk, Virginia.

The week’s worth of shows are of course focused around the start of Mardi Gras on March 5 of next year. Steel Panther will be joined throughout the seven-show run by Wilson.

Following the tour’s opening night in Jacksonville, the run is scheduled to continue the following evening in Destin, Florida, followed by performances in Birmingham, New Orleans, Nashville, Asheville and Norfolk. Fans hoping to attend the band’s March 4 show in New Orleans should be prepared for a wild night of music, beads and all-around shenanigans, as it falls on the eve of the famous holiday down in the Big Easy. The band has developed quite the reputation as an authentic experience to the days of Los Angeles’ raunchy Sunset Strip metal scene, so you know there’s going to be some epic adult party vibes going on all tour long.

Steel Panther recently announced that they’ve begun work on their fifth studio album which will hopefully be ready by the time the band hits the road in early March. The band’s ongoing North American tour is scheduled to continue into next month before wrapping on Dec. 11 with a show at Kansas City’s Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland. They’re also set to throw an end-of-the-year back on Jan. 31 with a New Year’s Eve performance at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon.

Tickets for select shows on their 2019 Mardi Gras tour will go on sale starting this Friday, November 16, at 10 a.m. local time, and can be found by clicking here
