Steel Panther announces new album in the works ahead of 2019 tour
Steel Panther

Glam rockers Steel Panther have started working on their fifth album. The band entered the studio on Tuesday (Nov. 13) to record drums for the new album. Drummer Stix Zadinia tweeted "Holy s***. We are doin it again!! These songs are gonna f****ck your face up. In the cool way."

It's unknown if the band is re-recording the album that was allegedly deleted back in August. Singer Michael Starr says the band was preparing to upload the new songs to Soundcloud when it accidentally got deleted. Though it sounds like something out of "Spinal Tap" the band insists it's not a joke. Producer Jay Ruston explained that Lexxi Foxx was supposed to upload the album to Soundcloud and thought the DEL key meant to deliver.

Steel Panther also recently announced their 2019 "Heavy Metal Mardi Gras" tour. The short jaunt kicks off March 3 in Jacksonville, Florida and wraps up March 8 in Norfolk, Virginia (Tickets). Tickets go on sale this Friday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Find all their tour dates here.
