Madame Tussauds has life-sized wax figures of just about anyone who is anyone in pop culture, and many of the celebrities portrayed there have often shown up to surprise fans. There are even times where some celebrities, such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, showed up and pretended to be a wax figure to surprise fans. Music producer Steve Aoki went one step further when he showed up at Madame Tussauds and shoved a cake into the face of his own wax figure.

This was a fun night where Aoki showed up to celebrate the new DJ Experience at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. This event included the introduction of the Steve Aoki wax figure for fans, and the DJ was there to witness the introduction as well. After Aoki smashed a cake into the figure's face, he then proceeded to eat some of it and then played a mini-set for fans with Desiigner showing up to perform as well.

Aoki told the Las Vegas Sun that he was trying to make the event and the unveiling of his wax figure "as weird as possible." However, as strange as the moment was, Aoki said that it was a very proud moment for him and that it is even bigger since Las Vegas is now his home. Aoki moved his headquarters to Henderson four years ago and is a headliner in Vegas

Steve Aoki and Desiigner have a big show lined up in Seattle on March 14 and AXS has tickets available (buy tickets here). The event takes place at the Showbox SoDo and also includes Grand Theft, Ricky Remedy, Max Styler and Bok Nero.
