Comedy fans brace yourselves for a tale of two Martins! Veteran comics Martin Short and Steve Martin are taking their hilarious tandem on the road this year as part of their North American An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life Tour. For those who won’t able to see the famous performers on their 2018 run, fear not! The two announced on Wednesday that they’ll be starring in their own Netflix comedy special, which will be released on the popular streaming platform sometime later this year, Rolling Stone reports.

In a silly video shared to Steve Martin’s Twitter page on Wednesday, the two are neck-deep (literally) in excitement to announce their televised special. The :30 second video clip can be watched below, and partially shows the two jokesters having a laugh about their top-notch video crew for the upcoming special, which was reportedly filmed at one of their shows over this past weekend at the Peace Center for the Performing Arts in Greenville, S.C. The show was one of the many stops the two will make on their co-headlining comedy tour, which includes a scheduled stop at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale on March 10.

The two are also joined on tour by The Steep Canyon Rangers, the bluegrass outfit who usually sit in as Martin’s backing back on his musical performances and recordings. Fans should expect to hear plenty of music throughout their live show, as Martin will not only be sporting his trusty banjo on stage, but will also provide the audience with “a series of bluegrass songs.”

One local news outlet praised their show from a performance late last year, saying “As the two men took the stage with confidence and went jab for jab with each other in a rapid-fire double roast that proved that they were not only still competent, they were as sharp as anyone could have hoped for.”

The announcement of the upcoming special should be another big home run for Netflix, which has made headlines over the last few years by bringing famous comedians including Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle back to the live stage.
