The Steve Miller Band has extended its 2017 tour schedule with a newly added North American tour that will feature support from special guest Peter Frampton.  The summer romp will include an Aug. 8 show in Las Vegas at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Promoter AEG Live unveiled details of the “Jet Airliner” hitmaker's Sin City stop in a news release posted on Jan. 30. The date is part of 24-city trek through the U.S. and Canada that the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee announced Monday at the band's official Facebook page, that will keep the pair of multi-platinum sellers busy from mid-June to early August.

The powerful summer double bill will kick off June 15 in Holmdel, New Jersey, at PNC Bank Arts Center. The tour will rock multiple major cities, including stops in Toronto, Philadelphia and Salt Lake City before wrapping up with the big show at Caesars Palace appearance.

Presales for the Las Vegas date begin Tues, Jan 31 at 10:00 a.m. PST. Tickets range in price from $59.50 - $150.00 and will be available to the public starting Fri, Feb. 3 at 12:00 p.m. PST. Tickets are available here.

Presales for other shows on the tour will begin Wed., Feb. 1 at 12:00 p.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the public starting Fri., Feb. 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time. More dates are expected to be added shortly. For more information, click here.

“Peter (Frampton) and I first met at Olympic studios in London in the late sixties when we were both just starting our recording careers,” said band founder Steve Miller in a statement posted Monday at the official website of The Steve Miller Band. “He was a wonderful guitarist and songwriter then and he is even more so today.”

Fans do not have to wait until summer to see The Steve Miller Band in action. The pioneering San Francisco acid rocker will launch a solo spring run that kicks off March 23 in Huntsville, Alabama, at Von Braun Center and wraps up April 2 in St. Augustine, Florida, at Saint Augustine Amphitheatre. Tickets for select Steve Miller Band dates are available at AXS.
