Styx will be rocking the City National Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, California on Jan. 14, 2020. The rock icons announced the new tour date on Facebook and tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, Sept. 27 (Tickets).
Though the band formed more than 45 years ago, they've shown absolutely no signs of slowing down. They've been active both in the studio and on the road, releasing their latest album The Mission in 2017 and touring extensively for the last several years. The Anaheim date is one of six new West Coast shows they have planned in 2020.
Music fans have Styx to thank for some of the most memorable songs of the 1970s, including "Rockin' The Paradise" and "Too Much Time On My Hands." In addition to crafting catchy songs, they're also great storytellers; The Mission was a concept album detailing humanity's mission to Mars, including the band's recent single "Radio Silence." Seeing them live is a full-blown experience that brings those stories to life with high energy and massive set pieces; play the video above to see a clip from one of their recent concerts.
Styx is the epitome of classic rock, and they've continued to rock over four decades and counting. Whether you remember their original hits, are looking for a fun and exciting show to enjoy, or simply want to enjoy great music in an equally great venue, every rock enthusiast will find something to love about their newest tour stop at City National Grove of Anaheim.
