Summerfest in Milwaukee opened on June 30 and runs through July 10, 2016. The music festival on the lakefront offers ways for patrons to save money on admission, usually for people who can arrive in the afternoon. Following are the admission promotions for July 6-10, 2016.
Wed., July 6, 2016
July 6 is Direct Supply Seniorfest Day is for patrons age 60 and up. They will be admitted for free when they check in at any gate between noon-4 p.m. In addition, they will receive an offer of $2 off on a food or nonalcoholic beverage purchase over $10. The entertainment options include The Grass Roots at the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyards, Doo-Wop Daddies Gold at BMA Harris Pavilion, and more.
July 6 is also Johnsonville Chicken Kabob Day from noon-3 p.m. All patrons who present an original receipt from the purchase of Johnsonville Chicken Kabobs from any retail location will receive one free admission valid for the day of the promotion only.
July 6 is also H.O.G. Member Day from noon-3 p.m. Members of the Harley Owners Group who present H.O.G. Member card will receive one free admission good for day of promotion only. In addition, H.O.G. members will enjoy exclusive access to the Harley Davidson Roadhouse from 5-9 p.m. (space is limited so first come/first served). The lineup at the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse includes Cadillac Pete and the Heat, Velveetatones, Kix, Southbound, Transviolet, and Garbage.
Thurs., July 7
July 7 is Mountain Dew Day. The first 2500 patrons who present a can of Mountain Dew marked with the Summerfest offer on the can will receive one free weekday admission, valid on the day of promotion only. There is a limit of one can per person.
July 7 is also Summerfest Military Appreciation Day. Active duty military personnel at veterans who present their Military ID from noon-3 p.m. will receive free admission along with up to four (4) family members.
Some of the headliners on the Summerfest grounds on July 7 includes: Cheap Trick at BMO Harris Pavilion, Kool and the Gang at Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard, 38 Special at Uline Warehouse, and The Decemberists at Miller Lite Oasis.
Fri., July 8
Fri., July 8 from noon-3 p.m. is Boston Store Customer Appreciate Day. The first 750 patrons who present their Boston Store Your Rewards Credit Card will receive two (2) free weekday admission tickets, which are valid for the day of promotion only.
Some of the Headliners on July 8 include Phil Vassar at Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard, The Fray at BMO Harris Pavilion, Common at Miller Lite Oasis.
Sat., July 9
Sat., July 9 is Northwestern Mutual “Make A Child Smile” day from noon-3 p.m. The first 1,500 patrons who donate new or gently used children’s books (preferably picture books and/or early readers for children 5-9) with a minimum value of $10 will receive one free admission ticket, valid for the day of promotion only. The donated books will be donated to the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum.
Sat., July 9 is also Milwaukee Brewers Ticket Voucher Gate Giveaway. Starting at 5 p.m., the first 5,000 patrons will receive a ticket voucher for two Brewers Terrace Reserved tickets for the July 25-28 series against the Diamondbacks.
Some of the headliners on July 9 are Barenaked Ladies at BMO Harris Pavilion, The Ides of March at Uline Warehouse, Chris Isaak at Uline Warehouse, and Gabriel Sanchez and the Prince Experience at the Johnson Controls World Stage.
Sun., July 10
Sun., July 10 is Summerfest “Fan Appreciation Day.” Patrons will be admitted free between noon-3 p.m., compliments of Meijer and Summerfest.
Sun., July 10 is also Summerfest 50 Day, in a newly announced promotion. Between noon-5 p.m., the first 50,000 patrons to be admitted will receive one free ticket for the 2017 season, which is the 50th anniversary of Summerfest.
