California rock band Switchfoot is ready to get back on the road.

The band will head out in the spring of 2019 for their Native Tongue Tour in support of the upcoming album of the same name, with support from Colony House and Tyson Motsenbocker. The tour will include stops in Santa Barbara and San Francisco. Tickets for select shows will be available right here on AXS starting this Friday, Oct. 26 at 10 a.m., with prices starting at $25. Pre-sales begin the day before, Thursday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m., and VIP packages are also available.

Native Tongue will be the band's 11th full-length studio album and is due out Jan. 18, 2019. It is currently available for pre-order, including merch bundles. Switchfoot also released the first single from the album, also called "Native Tongue," with lyrics about love and positivity. Frontman Jon Foreman elaborated on the album's themes in a press release, calling love our "native tongue."

"These are polarizing times, where the loudest voice is often the voice of anger or fear," Foreman said. "This album is an attempt to sing that hope into life. To bring a group of diverse songs under one common banner. Hatred is not your native language."

Switchfoot's previous album was 2016's Where the Light Shines Through, but the band paired up with fellow '90s rockers Lifehouse last year to record "Shine Like Gold" for victims of Hurricane Harvey, which hit Texas.
