Syd ends her Always Never Home tour in her hometown of LA

Last night, Syd of the collective The Internet wrapped up her Always Never Home tour at the Novo in Los Angeles in support of her debut solo album Fin, which was released earlier 2017. Syd. who is from Los Angeles and didn't shy away from letting the nearly sold out crowd how grateful she was to be gracing the stage solo.

Coming off of a solo set at Camp Flog Gnaw in October and multiple tour dates around the U.S.—many of which have been sold out—Syd didn't hold back anything for her last show on the tour. Letting the crowd know she was "finally home," she held back tears and often became speechless throughout the night as she showed her gratitude.

Playing mostly songs from Fin, including "Nothin To Somethin" and "Dollar Bills," the R&B/hip-hop rising star also broke out tracks from her latest EP release Always Never Home. The now solo artist proved that while she is great as the front-woman of The Internet, she can also hold her own.

It's obvious that Syd has a true following—and most of her friends and family were also in the crowd. She gave a special shoutout to her mom who was sitting at the top of The Novo to show support of her daughter.

"Last night was extra emotional. So many familiar faces in the crowd and so much love in the room. LA you showed up and I'm so grateful. You gave me the best end to a tour I could have ever asked for. You made me cry, made my mom cry... you made me proud... cant thank you enough....#alwaysneverhometour is over. Love you all," she wrote on Instagram after the show.
