Grammy-winning rapper T-Pain is starring in the entrepreneur reality show "T-Pain's School of Business," which premieres Oct. 16 at 11 p.m. ET on Fuse. In addition, T-Pain's single. "Might Be" featuring Gucci Mane was released Aug. 24th on streaming services. T-Pain previewed the track on Aug. 22 during an episode of Red Bull's "Remix Lab" show, which T-Pain hosts live on Red Bull's Twitch page.
In "T-Pain's School of Business," he explores 18 start-ups created by millennial and Generation Z entrepreneurs. According to an announcement about the show: "As [T-Pain] gets a feel for each quirky and groundbreaking company (including everything from weed-friendly startups, airborne autonomous delivery bots and digital instruments etc.), each entrepreneur will reveal how they got started and what it took to turn their ideas into reality."
"T-Pain's School of Business" is 2018's second business-oriented reality show starring a rapper. T.I. stars in and executive produces BET's "The Grand Hustle," a show that has participants competing to win a six-figure-salary position working for T.I.'s Grand Hustle company. "The Grand Hustle" premiered on July 19. Sean Combs had a reality show with a similar concept in VH1's "I Want to Work for Diddy," which was on the air from 2008 to 2010.
As previously reported, T-Pain is one of the performers at the inaugural Adult Swim Festival, which will take place Oct. 5-7 at Row DTLA in Los Angeles.
