Tedeschi Trucks Band to play intimate Northeast venues in February 2018

The Tedeschi Trucks Band will continue to tour into the new year in promotion of their latest album, Live from the Fox Oakland. The bluesy-rock jam band centered around husband-and-wife musical duo in slide guitarist master Derek Trucks and singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi announced on Monday that they’ll be performing a select number of shows in the northeast U.S. this coming February. The short winter run will see the band playing in smaller and more intimate venues, with the five shows starting on Feb. 8 in Wilkes-Barre, PA and wrapping just under two weeks later with a two-night stand at the famous Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. on Feb. 20-21. The band will also stay in Red Band, N.J. for a pair of nights at the Count Basie Theatre.

The group is currently on the road and near the end of their 2017 fall tour, which started back on Sept. 15 and saw them headline six night’s at the Beacon Theatre in New York City along the way. For their residency at the famous NYC venue, the group brought out plenty of surprise guests including Phish’s Trey Anastasio, Jimmy Vivino, Norah Jones and one of Eric Clapton’s longtime rhythm guitarists in Doyle Bramhall. With a pair of shows at the Capitol Theatre on their February run, which is famous for hosting some of the biggest names in the jam band world, lord only knows who may be coming out on stage to join them each night.

Their current fall tour will wrap with two final shows at Oakland's Fox Theater in a few weeks, but not before they also headline Santa Barbara's Arlington Theatre on Nov. 7
