Tei Shi will showcase her confident, dreamy grooves to East Coast audiences this May with a pair of shows in Brooklyn and Boston. The Argentine, Brooklyn-based indie pop talent will premiere the sounds of her debut album to audiences at BK's Rough Trade NYC on May 9 (grab tickets here) and Boston's Great Scott on May 11 (grab tickets here).
With two EP's and six singles under her belt, Tei Shi is finally ready to tell the whole story with her debut LP Crawl Space, (out March 31), a project said to document her "transformation from the cautious and curious new kid on the block to a confident, self-possessed artist." The project is led by the glam pop number "Keep Running."
“I wanted something more raw, feminine and sexy but still real,” Tei Shi says of her comprehensive, self-assured debut. “For this record, I definitely realized I want to be identifiable as me, my personality and my music. You want that connection, you want people to get who you are, so you have to show them.” Take a listen to "Keep Running" above and grab tickets to Tei Shi's upcoming shows here.
