The 2015 Billboard Music Awards were held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17. Always a popular awards show each year, the Billboard's hosts some of the music industries finest artists and producers. As the biggest stars arrived on the red carpet, all eyes were on some of the most anticipated performers, including Mariah Carey and Van Halen. Many of the stars looked amazing as they arrived and greeted fans, including Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez in a show stopping beaded floor length gown as well as Nick Jonas, Ed Sheeran and Hozier. Hosting the event was Chrissy Teigen and Ludacris who both did an amazing job. Taylor Swift as always, never failed to disappoint with a classy, ivory jumpsuit as she snagged most of the biggest awards of the night. The show had some incredible performers including Mariah Carey, who sang her first ever number 1 single, "Vision of love" and her new hit, "Infinity". After being a non show at the rehearsals during the week, Mariah had many critics talking about whether she would make it to the actual show. Nevertheless, Mariah didn't fail to disappoint, as she belted out some amazing notes and proved audiences wrong. Chris Brown performed with Pitbull, which brought audiences up off their seats and one of the highlights of the night was the tribute to the famous pop culture movie, "The Breakfast Club," which was introduced by Molly Ringwald. Simple Minds performed their epic hit "Don't you" (forget about me), which was an audience favorite. Kelly Clarkson put on an amazing performance of her new single "Invincible" and newcomer Tori Kelly did a powerhouse acoustic performance, claiming her new spot as the artist to watch for. Imagine Dragons also did a tear jerking tribute to the late BB King performing "Stand by Me".The show closed with a dramatic and over the top performance by Kanye West, which was introduced by Kylie and Kendall Jenner to screaming fans. The show was definitely entertaining, bringing the classic as well as new acts to the stage which was something for everyone. The Billboard Awards never fails to disappoint and was definitely worth the watch.
