Rock group The Aquabats have announced a handful of tour dates for fall of 2017 and will tour primarily the west coast. The group, which has been together for more than 20 years, announced earlier this year that new music would be on the horizon and posted the artwork for the single "Dr. Space Mummy." AXS has tickets to select shows here.

The quirky band will begin their short tour in Salt Lake City, Utah on Oct. 6 and will make their way through Denver, Colorado (Englewood), two shows in California and then they finally make their way to the far northeast corner to conclude the run on Oct. 19 in Seattle, Washington and Oct. 20 in Portland, Oregon. The fall tour follows another short stint along the east coast and midwestern states including Detroit, Michigan and ran for 13 dates through the end of July.

The Aquabats were mostly silent in 2015 and 2016 after touring for their 20th anniversary together in 2014 which covered nine states on the east coast performing 15 shows. Shortly after, the band toured an additional 16 dates along the west side of the United States.

The band released its last album, Hi-Five Soup!, in January 2018 and appealed more to the Halloween costume crowd rather than the older. However, it didn't stray from its usual comic book-influenced and pop culture style.
